If I'm elected President-Elect 2027, these are the promises I'm making to you, and you should hold me to them.

Don't just take my word for it.

Throughout my campaign, I've shown you how I'll work, not just told you what I'd do.

    I'll LISTEN

    I won't assume I already know what people need.

    I'll keep creating opportunities for members and volunteers to tell me what's working, what isn't and what they need from their professional body.

    And I'll make sure those conversations lead somewhere — including coming back to members to explain what happened as a result and why.

    I'LL SPEAK UP

    I'll celebrate the brilliant work happening across our membership and volunteer community, champion the breadth of our profession, and help different voices and experiences to be heard.

    And if something doesn't feel quite right, I'll be prepared to ask questions and speak up.

    I'LL BE ACCESSIBLE

    I want people to feel they can talk to me, whether they're a CIPR member or not.

    But accessibility goes beyond being able to talk to me. I'll keep asking how we can make it easier for people to engage with the CIPR in ways that work for them.

    I'LL BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER

    There's a huge amount of knowledge and experience across our membership, volunteer community and staff team.

    I'll look for more joined-up ways of bringing that together for the benefit of members — and champion relationships with other organisations where they can create opportunities the CIPR couldn't create alone.

I won’t promise what I don’t know I can deliver

I've served on the CIPR Board, so I understand what the President can - and can't - realistically do.

Yes, I'm committed to outcomes, but I'm also committed to finding the right way to deliver them.

If elected, I’ll understand what members need, what’s possible for the Institute, and what the President can genuinely help make happen by joining the dots and bringing people together.
